8/9/2018	Jeremy Klatt, David Knoll and I met with Daybreak today to discuss the action items from the last NOV I sent. Representing daybreak were Brandon Gibson, Craig Bleisner, Barrett Rehm, Nick Taylor and James Sampson. Mr. Gibson went over the Required Actions in the NOV (e.g., recalculate loading, train operators, implement SOPs, resubmit reports, etc.) and this was satisfactory. Daybreak also said that they were going to pipe the water over to the Prestage pipeline and then to Eagle Grove, starting this fall, and therefore would not be land applying moving forward, at least not in the same quantities. We discussed a possible enforcement action related to the ammonia detection this spring and Mr. Knoll, Mr. Klatt and I agreed that, since Daybreak had been responsive and has a permanent solution identified, this would not be necessary. We also discussed that Daybreak had a new Land Application Permit which went into effect 9 days ago, and that the reporting requirements were now different. They were going to resubmit the MORs from the old permit and provide written documentation of their responses.	DAVID MILLER
