8/7/2018 Report of spill going to ash pond via email from Cory Carter: "We had to take the plant off line last night because of a re-heater steam leak. In the process of repairing that leak we had to drain boiler tubes and the de-aeration tank. This water all flows to the basement sump pump and some residual oil was pumped to the pond. The turbidity fencing and existing oil booms again contained the oil. There was some light sheen outside the turbidity fencing that we collected with an additional boom. We have place absorbent pads and booms in the water and will let these tools do their work overnight and we will be checking the pond periodically. I fully think the pads we have placed on the water will be sufficient to collect the oil sheen by morning." CLARK OTT
