5/10/2018	Dave Wittry reported that there are a lot of screws, nails, and melted pieces of fiberglass in the shallow manure pits of the burned buildings. The fiberglass and stainless steel screws cannot be separated from the manure using magnets. Dave asked about how to dispose of the mixture since the manure cannot be buried onsite. We agreed that most of the liquid could be drained away. It may be possible to wash out a significant portion of the manure solids by adding water to the pits and then letting it drain. I asked Dave to remove as much manure as feasible from the pits and then contact Jake Theis or I for a site visit.	DAN OLSON
