Depth shallow. Rained 0.5 inches early AM on 5-7-00, raining during investigation. Presume due to combination of flush from rainfall, following a dry period and low flow conditions. Residential areas surround lake - some recent lawn treatments with herbicides reported. A golf course also drains to this lake. Sample results detected 0.24 ug/L 2,4-D (a commonly used acid herbicide).
