Onsite Comments

Small, shallow pond, high temperatures. Summerkill. Estimated 400-500 dead fish, mostly adult bluegill. Water clarity today was good which is typical following a large algae die-off. By the size and number of fish observed it was highly doubtful that it was a complete kill.

Not much can be done for this pond in its current state (pond is 4-5 acres in size with a current max depth of approx. 3-4 feet). Fisheries recommended to the city crews that were on hand that it needs to be dredged deeper.
