Onsite Comments

The fish kill was under the bridge at A42 and Mudd Creek where road construction was taking place. Due to the construction the water was being diverted through a culvert which caused the stream to packup and form a pool. The kill took place in this pooled area. During the hard rains on Thursday and Friday, the pooled water became very turbid, which killed the vulnerable fish population. Fish were found dead in the uppoer reaches of the stream and pool banks.
