Stuck irrigator caused over irrigation of a portion of a field used by Stokley for the disposal of wastewater. A tile line under the field picked up the extra water and discharged it to the stream. Stokley USA, Ackley, IA Plant. The following field measurements were taken. DO = 0.8 mg/l NH3-N = 1.5 mg/l Hach kit pH = 6.0 S.U. A water sample was taken from the golf course pool. Analysis showed: BOD5 = 2600 mg/l NH3-N= 0.6 mg/l A tile outfall was running white with contaminated water. Vegetation along the bank had Sphaerotilus growing on it. A sour milk odor existed. Field measurements of the tile outfall showed: DO = 2.8 mg/l NH3-N= 1.5 mg/l Hach kit pH = 6.7 S.U. A sample taken from the tile outfall showed: BOD5 = 2500 mg/l NH3-N= 0.8 mg/l
