A fish kill on August 7 killed approximately 10,000 fish in a quarter mile reach of Dry Run in O'Brien county. After a conversation with ESD on September 10, 2026, there is no responsible party identified at this time. Although we know from IDALS that a drone applied fungicide near the stream, samples cannot be chemically or temporally traced to that specific application.
