Onsite Comments

McLoud Run in Cedar Rapids, Linn County. The fish kill originated at a culvert entering the stream under a RR bridge, just below 32nd St. Dead fish were observed along 1890 yards of McLoud Run beginning at the RR Bridge below 32nd St (42.010624, 91.664743) to a rock riffle just above Shaver Road (41.998583, -91.671147).

Chlorinated water main break that drained to a storm sewer and entered the stream at the RR Bridge below 32nd St.
