Some bay areas in the far eastern end of Rice Lake had a natural fish kill due to low dissolved oxygen. The fish werediscovered while running turtle nets for a survey. These areas with fish loss were very shallow and heavily vegetated. Theremainder of Rice Lake had no loss of fish reported. Most fish lost were this year’s hatch of Yellow Perch and Bluegill.
