Onsite Comments

Heavy rain and cooling in area after days of hot, dry weather caused area streams to flash. This likely caused a flush of warm water concentrated with nutrients into deeper pool around bridge on Middle Sattre Rd. Oxygen sagged and temperature spiked in pool causing Brown Trout to die. Canoe Creek was carrying a heavy silt load with minimal visibility. Visibility on the tributary was limited and stained green in pool on Middle Sattre Rd. Water temperature in tributary at 3pm was 71 F. Found no other dead fish between Middle Sattre Rd. to mouth (150ft) or off of any other bridges.
