Onsite Comments

Water clarity excellent, no visible odors, numerous dead crawdads and darters littering stream bottom, unscaled fish (Stonecats) seen swimming erratically or dead. Prior to and during investigation, aerial spraying occurring. Aquatic vegetation present in upper sections (Horned and Flat-stemed Pondweeds), areas with gravel/cobble or silt substrates throughout. Overhanging vegetation densely covering undercut banks. Portions of this stream are stocked weekly with Rainbow Trout and throughout maintains a naturally reproducing Brown Trout population.
