The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. Lake Rathbun is located in Appanoose County and the Rathbun Law Enforcement complex is within Honey Creek State Park on the north side of the lake. This new heated storage building will house Rathun Law Enforcement's largest boats and equipment. It will have three (3) heated bays with an accessible storage mezzanine. It will also have a restroom, breakroom area, and mechanical room. The storage building will be constructed from Structural Insulated Panels and have heat. The break room will receive air conditioning via a mini-split system. There will also be a pull-through bay on the south end of the building and a concrete apron on the front.
This project will restore the CCC shelter at Trappers Bay State Park, which was built in 1934. The wood members of this shelter are in poor condition, roofing is in need of replacement. The concrete slab, column piers are all in need of replacement and new stone plinths shall be installed. This project will remove all roofing, underlayment, and flashing. This project will also remove all roof decking, inspect purlins and beams for rot, trim purlins, and then power-wash and stain all wood. Then, we will install new 2x6 T&G decking and new roofing with new copper flashing at the chimney.
This project includes felling approximately 1.3 acres of trees for a future leach field. Located east of the sewage treatment lagoons within Bellevue State Park - Dyas Unit.
