The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. Honey Creek State Park has two shower buildings in the campground area. This project will remodel the south shower building built in 1988, which is in need of an update. This project will remove all plumbing and electrical fixtures and replace them with modern, efficient products, repaint the interior, install new partitions, replace the roof and the ventilation system. There will be some added site work, concrete sidewalks and lighting, to ease maintenance and decrease damage done by storm water.
This project consists of approximately 13.2 miles of PCC crack and joint cleaning and sealing,
7 PCC patches totaling approximately 653 SY, and approximately 153 tons of granular
surfacing.

This project involves the removal of the existing restroom, installation of a new restroom, light poles, construction of sidewalks, utilities and parking lot at Orleans, Dickinson County, Iowa.
This project consists of an approximate 7800', 3-inch, HMA overlay with granular shoulders. Approximately 600 SY of PCC patching, consisting of 9 different patch areas, and approximately 200 SY of HMA patching,
consisting of 4 different patch areas.
Union Grove will receive a new design guide shelter for the beach area. This new design guide shelter will accommodate 8 picnic tables and serve the beach and lake-front of the park. A new hydrant will also be added as well as an accessible pathway to the shelter.

This project is for the repair of storm/flood damage to dike and parking lot at Goodwater Marsh. The project consists of placing roadstone on parking lot, reshaping dike to original dimensions, riprap armoring to reinforce areas of dike, seeding disturbed areas and other incidental work as required by DNR construction inspector.
This project is for the repair of storm/flood damage to dike, access road, parking lot and boat ramps at Brown's Slough. The project consists of placing roadstone on access road and parking lot near boat ramps, reshaping dike to original dimensions, riprap armoring to reinforce areas of dike, seeding disturbed areas and other incidental work as required by DNR construction inspector.
