The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consist of 1,200 Linear Feet of New Class 'E' Shoreline Armoring and 1,300 Linear Feet repairing of existing Shoreline Armoring and any incidental work as required by the D.N.R Field Engineer in Adams, Co. IA
This project consists of the demolition of four (4) existing restroom buildings in the park and installing one (1) new restroom building in a similar location. The restroom building is a pre-cast concrete building, six (6) hole flush restroom. This includes installing ADA sidewalks and parking for access to the new buildings, all earthwork, supplying and installing the new structures and incidental work as required by the project documents and the DNR Inspector.
The project consist of constructing a series of Revetment Rock silt dikes ,746 linear feet of bank stabilization (armoring) 720 linear feet of Trail and Drainage Tile repairs at Hickory Grove Park, Story Co. IA
Rathbun Fish Hatchery's boiler room has a ballasted EPDM roof which needs to be replaced. The membrane is stretched and has many different leaks. The contractor shall remove all ballast on the roof, then remove the entire EPDM membrane and all associated items. Existing rigid insulation to remain. Clean entire roof, add new 1/4" dens deck prime and, if needed, new wood substrate. Contractor to install new PVC membrane roof following all manufacturer's instructions for install and create new drainage flow as shown on plans. Contractor to install new pipe, vent and curb flashing, boots and drainage items. Contractor to install new curb and scupper flashing and two new head box downspouts. Contractor must demonstrate a minimum of ten (10) previous projects installing fully-adhered PVC, TPO or EPDM membrane projects similar to the scope of this project.

The project consists of furnishing and placing revetment, Class D riprap, (300Ton) along river shoreline at G Wyth State Park, Blackhawk County Iowa. Completion date March 31,2018. Proposal may be obtained by emailing name, address, and pho ne number.
This project is designed to widen and deepen an existing boat channel through the wetland marsh on the west side of 4 Mile Lake in Emmet County, Iowa. Work under this project includes excavation of a 10’ bottom channel with 2:1 side slopes for a distance of 700’. The material will be removed from the marsh and spoiled in an adjacent crop field.

The project consists of removal & disposal of trees and brush from the dike mainly on the eat end, scarification and reshaping existing dike (approx. 2900 LF) by placing material from along side of the dike or from an off site borrow resulting with a 10' top and 3:1 side slope dike, and seeding a stabilizing crop on the disturbed areas near Tripoli, Iowa, Sweet Marsh WMA, Bremer County. Project consists of scarification and reshaping of existing dike (approx. 500 LF) by placing material from borrow resulting with a dike with 10 foot top and 6:1 side slopes on Sweet Marsh WMA, Bremer county near Tripoli, Iowa. Proposal may be obtained by e-mailing name, address, and phone number.
The intent of this project is to renovate the exterior of an existing storage facility located at the Gull Point State Park Law Enforcement Complex in Dickinson County, IA. Work will involve the demolition and removal of all the existing roofing siding, sheeting, windows and doors followed by the installation of new materials per specification. Also included is some miscellaneous electrical/lighting work and the construction of a wood loading dock.
