The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. INSTALL TWO NEW DESIGN GUIDE CABINS AT THE PARK. EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE AND UTILITIES ARE ALREADY IN PLACE FROM PREVIOUS DEVELOPMENT. THESE CABINS WILL HAVE ONE BEDROOM, KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM AREA, ONE ADA COMPLIANT RESTROOM AND MECHANICAL ROOM TOTALLING 500 SF. IT WILL ALSO HAVE AN EXTERIOR DECK ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE CABIN.

This project consists of construction of stream bank stabilization including providing and placing Revetment- Class B- Modified, Class D revetment, excavation & grading, engineering fabric, erosion control mat, seeding, and other appurtenances, in accordance with the project plans and specifications and as directed by the Iowa DNR inspector.
This project includes repairs to the dock system at Honey Creek Resort including diving, electrical, concrete, welding, and fabrication work. Bidders must arrange for an on site review with the engineer prior to submitting a bid. Send an email to request plans.

This project consists of replacing an existing 2-inch water line to the lower picnic area, 1,860 feet in length, along with 3 yard hydrants located at Wildcat Den State Park in Muscatine County, Iowa.
Project is wetland restoration & enhancement consisting of the construction of two wetland ponds, clear trees & shrubs from existing dike, repair of dike washout, construction of a small dike and seeding disturbed areas with a stabilizing crop seeding. Plans & Specs may be obtained by email.
