The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project was designed by Ducks Unlimited, in cooperation with the Iowa DNR, and consists of the restoration of a site adjacent to Little Storm Lake and incidental work as required by the Plans and/or the D.U. Construction Inspector.
NOTE: Embankment portions of this work are to be performed in the winter due to unstable subsoil conditions at the site. Contractors will need to familiarize themselves with conditions prior to bidding and review the plans for detailed instructions regarding the winter work.
This project consists of removal of a 24" CMP and replacement with a slotted flume. Also, removal and replacement of pavement and compacted earthfill embankment. A borrow site will be provided within the park if needed.
This project consists of miscellaneous repairs to include clearing & grubbing, grading, rip-rap placement, grouting a void space under a concrete slab, power washing & refinishing wood siding, and sanitary sewer lift station repairs.
Construction of sediment control strucures at 13 sites including earthwork and water control structures. Sites are surrounding the lake at Brushy Creek State Recreation Area.
This project consists of replacing 2 culverts, placing riprap on a streambank, and providing fill dirt to fill voids at Rock Creek State Park in Jasper County, Iowa.
