The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. Backbone State Park will be receiving an Iowa DNR design guide entrance portal and two new sign guide portals (A1 & A3). The design guide portals will have real stone bricking, steel bracketing, and glulam timber supports as well as limestone capstones. The new portals will be placed near the entrances of the state parks, as shown.
Project includes repairing a large washout at a culvert outlet along a road within Bellevue State Park by importing fill material and armoring with 230 tons of revetment.
This project consists of two pond repairs in the Stephens State Forest, Whitebreast Unit.
Mine Pond: Place 80 tons of class E riprap in the washout on the west end of the concrete spillway.
North Pond: Place 35 tons of 1" clean stone along and under the existing CMP outlet.

Project consists of tree removal and constructing a small earthen dike with an inline water control structure to restore a wetland on the Pedelty property on Lekwa Marsh WMA, Cerro Gordo Co. Iowa. Proposal may be obtained by emailing name, address, and phone number to melvin.pacovsky@dnr.iowa.gov
