The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consists of the demolition of the existing cabin flooring, sub-floor and insulation and cleaning of existing floor joists. Installation of 4" closed-cell spray foam insulation, new sub-floor and vinyl flooring with new access hatch. New LED lighting, access ladder and pipe insulation and heat wire on incoming water service and venting fan in crawl space for all four (4) cabins at Palisades-Kepler State Park in Linn County, Iowa.

Project involves construction of a new concrete boat ramp, two rock surfaced parking areas, rock surfaced access roads, a rock surfaced boat ramp and other incidental work as required by D.N.R. Construction Inspector in Monona County, Iowa.
Project will consist of repairs to the following buildings due to a hail storm on June 3rd. New office, Water treatment building, Tech house, Law enforcement storage building, Rangers residence and garage, old fish and game building, Dump station septic mound controls, Huffcutt shower building, Pit latrine at boat ramp, South check-in station, North check-in station and kiosk at entrance
This project is for the construction of a new RV dump station and associated utilities at Pine Lake State Park in Hardin County. The existing dump station will be removed as a part of the scope of work as well as the reconfiguration of a camp site into a full hookup site adjacent to the new dump station.

This project is for the purchase and installation of a precast concrete pit latrine at the Williams Drive boat ramp area of Big Creek State Park. The building shall be a Huffcutt Iowa style structure or equal. Installation includes the excavation for the pit and backfill after the erection of the building. The delivery and erection of the building is a part of this contract.

Embankment repair including placement of compacted earth fill and riprap in the flood damaged areas of the Hayesville Bend area of the Sugema Wildlife Unit, Keokuk County, Iowa in accordance with the project documents and as directed by the Iowa DNR Inspector. Send an email to request plans.
