The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project involves blading/shaping to re-establish roadway crown, culvert removal and installation, ditch cleaning, and the spreading of granular material of the type and size specified.

This project involves approximately 1200 linear feet of stream restoration to create floodplain benches and serviceable floodplain along mill creek. Reshaping the banks and stabilizing site by planting prairie mix to establish a riparian corridor.
This project consists of replacing existing lift station with a new one, installing cleanout manholes, grouting 7 manholes for leaks and patching tears in the lagoon liner.

The project includes dredging 500,000 cubic yards of lakebed material from Lake Manawa and stockpiled on site at Lake Manawa State Park. Includes any incidental work as required by the Plans and/or the DNR Construction Inspector.
This project consists of earthen embankment construction, placement of shoreline armoring, placement of a pedestrian bridge, placement of in-lake fish habitat, installation of pond water control structures, and other items related to the renovation of this four-lake system.
This project is designed provide a new pit vault latrine in the boat ramp parking area of Bel Aire Boat Ramp Access to Storm Lake, Buena Vista County, Iowa. The main work under this project includes supply and setting of an "Iowa Standard" single precast concrete pit latrine. Other work included in the contract would be excavation for the building vault, subsurface dewatering, installation of granular base material, PCC paving removal, PCC paving, bollards, parking lot striping, and ADA signage.

Project includes repairing a large washout at a culvert outlet along a road within Bellevue State Park by importing fill material and armoring with 230 tons of revetment.
This project consists of two pond repairs in the Stephens State Forest, Whitebreast Unit.
Mine Pond: Place 80 tons of class E riprap in the washout on the west end of the concrete spillway.
North Pond: Place 35 tons of 1" clean stone along and under the existing CMP outlet.
