The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consists of removing the existing entrance roadway and gravel parking, and installing a new 20-foot wide portland cement concrete roadway with granular sub-base along with the paving of the adjacent parking areas and will require demolition, clearing, grading, culvert pipes, paving, and seeding/fertilizing/mulching disturbed areas located in Mini Wakan State Park, Dickinson County, Iowa.
The project consists of construction of Phase 2 of the project including clearing and grubbing, berm construction, water control structures, an emergency spillway, and incidental items on the east 5,500 feet of the project site as shown in the project documents and as directed by the DNR Inspector.

PLEASANT CREEK STATE PARK WILL BE RECEIVING A IOWA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES DESIGN GUIDE ENTRANCE PORTAL. THIS ENTRANCE PORTAL WILL BE ONE OF THE FIRST BUILT TO THE NEW DESIGN GUIDE STANDARD AND WILL BE THE PRECEDENT TO ALL NEW ENTRANCE PORTALS DESIGNED AND BUILT BY THE DNR. IT WILL HAVE REAL STONE BRICKING, STEEL BRACKETING AND GLULAM TIMBER SUPPORTS AS WELL AS CAST CONCRETE CAPSTONES.
This project consists of construction of a surface water impoundment improvements project consisting of an intake diversion structure, a diversion channel, new emergency spillways, embankment construction and repair, outlet control structure, outlet channel excavation, storm water controls, seeding and mulching, and other appurtenances, in accordance with the project plans and specifications and as directed by the Iowa DNR inspector.

PALISADES KEPLAR STATE PARK LODGE IS OVERRUN WITH BATS, THIS PROJECT IS TO CLEAN THE INTERIOR OF THE LODGE AND THEN PROCEED TO BAT-PROOF THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE INSIDE AND OUT. A ONE YEAR WARRANTY WITH A TEN YEAR MAINTENANCE PLAN SHALL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT.

Project consists of lowering approximately 6800 LF of existing dike toward the interior of the containment site, leveling tree removal piles in the northerly section of the site and as per site DNR Facilities Engineer. Plans & Specs may be obtained by email.

Repair 850 feet of the existing west shorline of the lake with screened Class "E" riprap. Repair the shorline on the end on the fishing jetty using 50 ton of screened Class "E" riprap.
