The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

This project consists of demolition of the existing storage building and replacing that building with the same outside dimensional footprint with the construction of a one story, pre-engineered post-frame building with a metal roof and metal siding. This project is for the demolition of a swimming pool and pump room, an asphalt parking lot and removal of miscellaneous debris including wood and concrete and a steel water tank at the Barkley State Forest near Fraser, Iowa. Also included is the plugging of an 8" well casing in the associated creek.

This project consists of the purchase and placement of two double precast concrete pit vault toilets at Brushy Creek State Park in Webster County. The scope of work includes minor grading/sod removal, excavation and placement of the pit vaults, preparation of a rock parking area and final grading/grooming of sites.

Project consists of reshaping roadways, furnishing & Placing cr. stone surfacing & revetment, replacement of roadway culvert at Waterloo Cr. WMA, Allamakee County. Plans may be obtained by email.
Project consists of replacing approx. 3500 LF 1 1/4" gas service from meter to Frank Lloyd Wright house at Cedar Rock State Park, Buchanan Co. Iowa. Plans may be obtained by email.
Project involves the placement of a rock toe to repair damage to a bank restoration project on the Boone River in Webster City. Additional cut at the remnant ice dam is required as well as cut of an upstream point bar. In addition to rock toe, 3 vanes that extend 25' out from the bank will be built.

This project consists of the replacement of asphalt shingle roofing on three buildings at Brushy Creek State Park in Webster County. The scope of work includes the removal of old shingles and gutters and the placement of new shingles and associated substrate, and new gutters and downspouts as noted.

This project is for the construction of a new RV dump station and associated utilities at Pine Lake State Park in Hardin County. The existing dump station will be removed as a part of the scope of work as well as the reconfiguration of a camp site into a full hookup site adjacent to the new dump station.

This project is for the purchase and installation of a precast concrete pit latrine at the Williams Drive boat ramp area of Big Creek State Park. The building shall be a Huffcutt Iowa style structure or equal. Installation includes the excavation for the pit and backfill after the erection of the building. The delivery and erection of the building is a part of this contract.
