The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual.  Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms,  Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.

Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis. To subscribe to this list, click here.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. NEW BOAT RAMP
Proposal Guarantee:

   Project includes placing an 80' x 12' reinforced PCC boat ramp on a granular subbase. Includes minor grading, borrow and placement of road stone for a new parking lot and access road. Project is located on the south side of the Iowa River within the Hawkeye Wildlife Management Area.

LAKE DARLING STATE PARK
PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ABUTMENTS (REBID)
Proposal Guarantee: $0
Completion Date: 2/16/2018

   This project will construct cast-in-place PCC bridge abutments and install a pre-fabricated pedestrian bridge (140' long by 10' wide by others) at the silt dam within Lake Darling State Park. This is a rebid of a previous project with a reduced scope of work and extended completion date.

LEWIS & CLARK STATE PARK
LEWIS & CLARK PCC PARKING EXTENSION
Proposal Guarantee: $0
Completion Date: 11/17/2017

   The scope of this project involves replacement of an existing small gravel parking area with new concrete (PCC) paving at the fisheries facility located in Lewis & Clark State Park, Monona County, IA. The design includes some saw cut and removal of existing paving, sub-base grading, dowel bar installation, and about 97 SY of 6" PCC Paving.
