The purpose of this project is to mechanically remove sediment from within the lake, construct a boat launch facility, replace the existing principal dam spillway, construct a granular surfaced trail and jetty, enhance the existing wetland, and incidental work as required by the DNR Construction Inspector.
Project includes placing an 80' x 12' reinforced PCC boat ramp on a granular subbase. Includes minor grading, borrow and placement of road stone for a new parking lot and access road. Project is located on the south side of the Iowa River within the Hawkeye Wildlife Management Area.
This project will construct cast-in-place PCC bridge abutments and install a pre-fabricated pedestrian bridge (140' long by 10' wide by others) at the silt dam within Lake Darling State Park. This is a rebid of a previous project with a reduced scope of work and extended completion date.
The scope of this project involves replacement of an existing small gravel parking area with new concrete (PCC) paving at the fisheries facility located in Lewis & Clark State Park, Monona County, IA. The design includes some saw cut and removal of existing paving, sub-base grading, dowel bar installation, and about 97 SY of 6" PCC Paving.
