The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. Rathbun Wildlife Headquarters is located at the Colyn WMA, near the town of Lucas in Lucas County, IA. This project consists of the construction of a one story, pre-engineered S.I.P.'s (structural insulated panel) building addition with a metal roof and metal siding, approximately 24'-0"x40'-0", including one heated bay with an overhead door, egress door and a tool storage closet. The demolition of old fish kettles and utilities and the regrading of three small fish ponds into two large ponds with the construction of two new fish kettles.

DOT WETLAND MITIGATION - LAGO SITE #2 CHANNEL (REBID)

This is a rebid of a project that is designed to serve as a water outlet area for a DOT mitigation project in the Welsh Lake wildlife area. Work under this project includes excavation of 1,139 ft of channel, 290 ft of 8" tile installation, tile breaks, and erosion control measures.

This project is designed to improve depth and width of two existing channels in Rush Lake. Work under this project includes excavation of 2,420 ft of outlet channel, and 400 ft of boat ramp channel. The channels will have a 10' wide bottom and 2:1 side slopes. The total amount of excavation is approximately 1,950 CY.

Project consists of developing a surfaced parking area, access roadway and canoe launch lane. The area will have to be cleared of small trees. The entrance road will be reshaped with on-site barrow material and placement of large rock for traffic control. Disturbed areas will be seeded. Plans & Specs may be obtained by email.
This project is designed to add a 15' x 24' section of 6" thick reinforced PCC boat ramp to the end of the existing ramp at the Weedland Access to the Missouri River in Woodbury County. Work under this contract includes grading work in the channel, prep grading for a push in ramp section, reinforced PCC paving, and riprap protection of the new slab
