The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. The lodge renovation is one of 4 buildings being renovated in 2025-2026 at Clear Lake State Park. The lodge improvements include new resinous flooring in restroom, new restroom fixtures and partitions, restroom remodel to meet ADA compliance requirements, cob blasting and re-finishing existing woodwork, new thermally efficient windows, repaired trim work, replacement or repair of large timber structural members, re-purposing lighting fixtures to function as LED type lighting fixtures, new concrete pad for ADA compliant parking, removal of existing concrete slabs and replacement with new slabs, fireplace brick and chimney stone repairs, new roof gutter system, kitchen renovation with new millwork and appliances, and installation of mini-split HVAC system.

MASONRY - FIREPLACE/FIREBRICK REPAIR, CLEANING AND TUCKPOINTING
This project will address maintenance and repair work needed on a precast concrete restroom/shower building in the Clear Lake State Park Campgrounds. Work includes precast joint treatments, new standing seam roof, exterior and interior concrete painting, concrete patching and repair, resinous flooring, replacing exhaust fans, replacing shower valves, replacing lighting fixtures and installing sensors and timers.
This project includes repairing a breach in an existing dike and excavating a new spillway at the Knapp Creek Impoundment within the Hawkeye Wildlife Management Area.

This project consists of replacing the broken and rotten gate timbers with new poles. The existing strapping is to be restored. Other hardware is to be replaced with stainless steel equivalents.

This project includes the hauling of proper fill to rebuild an earthen dike, installing a CMP culvert through the dike, CMP fireproof cover, cut and rock emergency spillway, and tree grubbing and removal. Construction per Iowa SUDAS.
