The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. The Center Lake Fish Barrier System & Shoreline Restoration project is designed to install critical infrastructure on an existing wetland to improve water quality and prevent rough fish migration into the lake. 1,135 lineal feet of eroded shoreline will also be armored and restored as part of this project. General work under this contract will include installation of large fieldstone rock for the fish barrier and the shoreline revetment, excavation to expand an existing wetland area, earthfill to repair/create wetland dikes, and installation of a box culvert and CMP water control structures.
Project consists of removal and disposal of bridge and abutments, and reshaping river banks at Backbone State Park near Dundee, Delaware Co., Iowa. Proposal & plan may be obtained by emailing name, address, and phone number.
This project is for the removal and repacement of a 15 foot wide by 20 foot long section of concrete boat ramp at Morse Lake in Wright County, near Belmond, Iowa.

This project consists of demolishing existing fuel tanks and replacing with 500 gallon, split 250/250 dual wall tanks on concrete pads with bollard protection. Fuel tanks will be replaced Red Haw State Park and Lake Ahquabi State Park. Send an email to request plans.
