The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

SHOWER BUILDING, HOST CAMP SITE, WATER TREATMENT BUILDING & DUMP STATION

This project consists of the demolition of an existing shower building in the campground, installing a new shower building in the same location, installing a water treatment building, the removal of the existing dump station and constructing a new dump site in a different location, and constructing a new host campsite near the shower building. This includes installing sidewalks for access to the new building, all earthwork, supplying and installing the new structures and incidental work as required by the project documents and the IDNR Inspector at Pilot Knob State Parks in Hancock County, Iowa.
This project is designed to add electric fish barrier components to the existing concrete box culvert that separates Lost Island Lake from Barrier Marsh. Work includes installation of steel electrodes inside the culvert, construction of an 8'x12' control building with associated components, installation of conduit and wire between the building and barrier, a small amount of site work, signage, and fencing.

Project consists of stabilizing eroding streambanks at 8 locations totaling approx. 1960 LF. Work consists of bank shaping, hauling excess soil material to disposal site, placement of revetment on slopes, and cover crop seeding. Plans & Specs may be obtained by email.
Project consists of grading slope approximately 12' out from the end of the ramps, placing a subbase of clean 2" crushed stone , furnishing & placing "Armorflex" articulating concrete block revetment system or equal, with a top dressing of clean 2" crushed stone, and removing & replacing the docks. This project is designed to remove approximately 2' of sediment (1,600CY) from the filter pond at the Spirit Lake Hatchery Complex. The required removal method will be Hydraulic Dredging with the spoil material pumped into Geotube storage bags.

DOT WETLAND MITIGATION - LAGO SITE #2 CHANNEL (REBID)

This is a rebid of a project that is designed to serve as a water outlet area for a DOT mitigation project in the Welsh Lake wildlife area. Work under this project includes excavation of 1,139 ft of channel, 290 ft of 8" tile installation, tile breaks, and erosion control measures.

This project is designed to improve depth and width of two existing channels in Rush Lake. Work under this project includes excavation of 2,420 ft of outlet channel, and 400 ft of boat ramp channel. The channels will have a 10' wide bottom and 2:1 side slopes. The total amount of excavation is approximately 1,950 CY.

Project consists of developing a surfaced parking area, access roadway and canoe launch lane. The area will have to be cleared of small trees.
