The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. The Center Lake Fish Barrier System & Shoreline Restoration project is designed to install critical infrastructure on an existing wetland to improve water quality and prevent rough fish migration into the lake. 1,135 lineal feet of eroded shoreline will also be armored and restored as part of this project. General work under this contract will include installation of large fieldstone rock for the fish barrier and the shoreline revetment, excavation to expand an existing wetland area, earthfill to repair/create wetland dikes, and installation of a box culvert and CMP water control structures.
Project includes replacement of multi-use trail bridge decking (pressure treated wood) and placement of 60 tons of revetment at two trail bridges in Pleasant Creek State Recreation Area in Linn County, Iowa.

This project is for the demolition of the range administration building, storage shed, three shooting range buildings, miscellaneous concrete slabs and other work as designated, at the Olofson Shooting Range near Polk City, Iowa.

Project consists of constructing bendway weirs with large angular limestone (684T), furnishing and placing riprap(470T), removal & disposal of trees, reshaping 600 LF of stream bank, and stabilizing crop seeding along Paint Creek in Yellow River State Forest near Harpers Ferry, Iowa.
