This project contains three site locations of construction. The first site is a roadway overlay project and includes the removal of the existing intakes and culverts, saw cutting and removing part of the existing asphalt park road and the construction of a new storm sewer system, overlaying and extending the existing asphalt roadway for a distance of roughly 1,861 lineal feet, requiring tree clearing, grading, storm sewer construction, pavement construction and seeding/fertilizing/mulching all disturbed areas. The second site is for a bridge replacement and requires the removal of an existing four celled 9'x5' box culvert and the construction of a new structural concrete bridge. The third site consists of culvert replacement and requires the removal of four 15" diameter metal culverts and the installation of a twin 10'x5'x32' reinforced concrete box culvert. All three sites are located at Springbrook State Park in Guthrie County, Iowa.

Pine Lake State Park currently does not have a storage garage. This storage garage will allow the staff at Pine Lake SP to store their boats and other large equipment in a covered area as well as have a place for staff to work. There will be a 6'-0" storage loft to allow more storage in areas that are otherwise unused. The new proposed storage building will have 12'-0" overhead doors, allowing all equipment to be placed inside, lighting, better access to power and easier access to storage materials
This project consists of restoring the existing dredge spoil containment site. The water control structure is to be replaced, the embankment is to be repaired, and sediment is to be removed and spread on an upland site.
