The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consists of repairing damage caused by sustained high water and wave action along the shoreline of West Okoboji Lake at Pillsbury Point State Park.
This project consists of tree removal and fence removal for replacement at a total length of 12.4 miles. The replacement fence will be built using a wildlife friendly design. It will be constructed of only metal components to improve its resistance to seasonal prescribed burning. The fence locations will be along the road right-of-way and also along state forest property lines in timber situations.
This project consists of cutting the dam for a controlled drawdown of Diamond Lake. A drawdown structure will be installed to aid in future lake drawdowns.
This project is designed to create a wetland pool area on the Nepple Wildlife Management Area (WMA), Dickinson County, Iowa. Work under this project includes embankment (dike construction), excavation (spillway & borrow), tile investigation, tile breaks, and a water control structure with associated piping

This project includes removal of a deteriorated wooden bridge and stairs, including posts and railroad ties; and placement of low water crossings in two locations with PCC pig slats with minor grading to realign a trail at Maquoketa Caves State Park.
