The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

Rathbun Wildlife Headquarters is located at the Colyn WMA, near the town of Lucas in Lucas County, IA. This project consists of the construction of a one story, pre-engineered S.I.P. (structural insulated panel) building addition with a metal roof and metal siding, approximately

To install an 8-foot wide 5-inch thick reinforced PCC recreational trail (3.48 miles in total length: 3.13 miles of actual construction and 0.35 miles of shared roadway) for Green Valley State Park, Union County, Iowa. This project includes, but is not limited to: clearing, demolition, grading, culvert pipes, PCC trail construction, seeding/fertilizing/mulching disturbed areas, signage.
The project consists of construction of a new wastewater pump station and 3-inch diameter force main on the east side of Big Creek Lake as shown in the project documents and as directed by the DNR Inspector.

THIS INTERPRETIVE KIOSK WILL ASSIST PARK VISITORS WITH WAY-FINDING, INTERPRETIVE ANALYSIS AND EXPLANATION OF PARK FEATURES. THIS NEW DESIGN IS PART OF THE NEW PARKS DESIGN GUIDE WHICH WILL FIT WITH THE NEW PARK IMAGE FOR IOWA. THESE WILL BE LOCATED AT EB LYONS NATURE CENTER ON THE NEW WOODLAND WALK TRAIL IN DUBUQUE COUNTY, IOWA.
CONTRACTOR SHALL BE PRESENT ON SITE FOR THE DAY OF THE BUILD WITH THEIR MASON (SEPTEMBER 4, 2013 FROM 12:00PM - FINISH). CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL TOOLS, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT ON THE "BUILD DAY". THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONSTRUCT THE KIOSK AND DISASSEBLE PRIOR TO THE "BUILD DAY" TO ENSURE QUALITY CONSTRUCTION.

This project involves paving a boat ramp, placement of riprap near the boat ramp, and incidental items as required by the project documents and the IDNR Construction Inspector at Waubonsie State Park in Fremont County, Iowa.

Project consists of constructing and developing a new public water well, install new water and electrical services from well to Visitors Center and connecting new system to existing inside the Visitors Center. Plug existing well & disconnect existing services.
Project consists of lowering (approximatelly 5') & reshaping 7300 LF of dikes; removing,salvaging & stockpiling 8 steel drain pipes, and removing outflow structure. Disturbed areas will be seeded with a stabilizing crop seeding.
