The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

DNR will be installing a lightning protection system at Honey Creek Resort. In late 2013, Honey Creek Resort's lodge was struck by lightning which destroyed many of the Resort's expensive electrical and tech equipment. The damage done to the electrical at the Resort totaled more than $150k. Installing this new protection system will minimize future strikes and isolate them for greater protection.
This project consists of converting an existing single cell waste treatment lagoon into a two cell controlled discharge lagoon. This will be accomplished by expanding the existing lagoon to the north and constructing a new divider berm to get the second cell. New intra-cell piping will be installed for transfer. Also a new duplex lift station will be installed along with the 7,400 ft 3" forcemain and 70 ft. of gravity outfall sewer to Cedar Creek.

Replace all of the furnace and AC systems throughout the ed center. The current systems have not be functioning properly and are 20+ years old and in need of replacement.
Project consists of constructing 50LF 0f 1 1/2' PCC curg & gutter, 60 LF PCC 4' wide waterway with curb & gutter on each side, contractor furnished Class 10 fill for reshaping slope, and see stabilization crop on disturbed areas at Volga River SRA, Fayette County, Iowa. Project consists of repairing fishing dock by replacing floats, decking & rauiling, repairing gangway anchor, furnishing & placing deadman anchors at Volga River SRA, Fayette County, Iowa. Plans may be obtained by email.
