The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

Construction of a new wetland complex containing 19 basin areas consisting of new water control structures, sheet pile dikes, earthen dikes, farm tile day lighting, excavation, compaction, seeding & mulching on the west side of West Lake Okoboji in Dickinson County as shown in the project documents and as directed by the DNR Inspector.
Rathbun Wildlife Headquarters is located at the Colyn WMA, near the town of Lucas in Lucas County, IA. This project consists of the construction of a one story, pre-engineered S.I.P. (structural insulated panel) building addition with a metal roof and metal siding, approximately

ONE OF THE GARAGE BAYS WILL BE TURNED INTO A CONFERENCE / BREAK AREA, AS WELL AS A NEW SUPERVISOR'S OFFICE AND ADA COMPLIANT RESTROOM. RESTORE THE DAM TO ORIGINAL CONDITIONS AS DESCRIBED IN THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, USE STONE SIMILAR TO THE STONE ALREADY IN PLACE, REMOVE AND RE-PLACE ANY LOOSE STONES ON THE DAM FACE.
The project involves replacing pumps in an existing Lift Station and directional boring a 2500 ft. of 2" HDPE Forcemain and connecting to an existing manhole.

THIS INTERPRETIVE KIOSK WILL ASSIST PARK VISITORS WITH WAY-FINDING, INTERPRETIVE ANALYSIS AND EXPLANATION OF PARK FEATURES. THIS NEW DESIGN IS PART OF THE NEW PARKS DESIGN GUIDE WHICH WILL FIT WITH THE NEW PARK IMAGE FOR IOWA. THESE WILL BE LOCATED AT EB LYONS NATURE CENTER ON THE NEW WOODLAND WALK TRAIL IN DUBUQUE COUNTY, IOWA.
CONTRACTOR SHALL BE PRESENT ON SITE FOR THE DAY OF THE BUILD WITH THEIR MASON (SEPTEMBER 4, 2013 FROM 12:00PM - FINISH). CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL TOOLS, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT ON THE "BUILD DAY". THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONSTRUCT THE KIOSK AND DISASSEBLE PRIOR TO THE "BUILD DAY" TO ENSURE QUALITY CONSTRUCTION.
COORDINATE WITH FIELD INSPECTOR AND ARCHITECT FOR PRECISE LOCATION OF KIOSK
This project involves paving a boat ramp, placement of riprap near the boat ramp, and incidental items as required by the project documents and the IDNR Construction Inspector at Waubonsie State Park in Fremont County, Iowa.
