The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. Both restrooms at Ledges State Park Campground are leaking and in need of replacement. This project will remove the existing roofing materials and install all new roofing materials on the two shower buildings. As an alternate, the Henning Shelter will also be roofed with the same materials as the shower buildings.

The office at Big Creek State Park has old shingles that are deteriorating beyond repair. This project will remove all old shingles and install a new steel roof on the office building. This will also address the gutters and downspouts.

Project consists of removing and disposing of the existing air filter system, furnishing and installing a new desiccant air dryer system that is compatible with existing air compressor, existing 80-gallon vertical tank, and existing air-cooled aftercooler. Existing equipment is housed in a shed at the end of a cul-de-sac on 260yh Street, east of Jay Avenue intersection, near Allison, Butler County Iowa.
The Derecho of 2020 damaged multiple structures within Palisades-Kepler State Park and they are in need of repair. The lodge roof, currently in cedar shingles, will get a new asphalt shingle roof with OSB sheathing over the entire roof deck. There was damage to cabin #4, the campground check-in kiosk, and multiple pole lights throughout the park.

The project includes replacing existing phase converters and electrical panels at three lift stations within Lake Darling State Park including any labor, trip charges or other miscellaneous parts that will be needed for fully functional electrical control panels for the lift stations.
