The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. THE EB LYONS SECTION OF MINES OF SPAIN STATE RECREATION AREA WILL RECEIVE A NEW STORAGE GARAGE ON THE SITE AND THE EXISTING GARAGE WILL BE DEMOLISHED AS PART OF A SEPARATE CONTRACT. THE NEW GARAGE WILL HAVE THREE BAYS, A SMALL BREAK ROOM AREA, MECHANICAL ROOM AND RESTROOM. THE EXTERIOR OF THE GARAGE WILL HAVE A SMALL, FENCED-IN YARD, FUEL TANKS AND DRIVE TO THE SITE.
This project consists of installing a modern restroom near the concession stand, a vault latrine in the campground and a vault latrine near the ADA fishing pier. This includes all earthwork, Supplying and installing the new facility as well as removing the existing buildings located at the concession stand and in the campground and construction parking stalls in the campground and ADA fishing pier and incidental work as required by the DNR Inspector.

SINGLE RIGHT HAND CASCADIAN PRECAST CONCRETE VAULT
THIS PROJECT CONSIST OF INSTALLING A NEW 1250 GALLON SEPTIC TANK AND A 88 FT. LONG CHAMBER LEACH FIELD FOR AN EXISTING OFFICE/SHOP FACILITY AT SPRINGBROOK STATE PARK.

This project is designed repair elements of an existing wetland dike located on the Silver Lake Fen WMA in Dickinson County, Iowa. Specific repairs include tree stump removal, removal of the existing water control structures, installation of earth fill, excavation of an emergency spillway, and installation of a new agridrain water control structure

Project consists of repairing 2013 flood damage in 5 locations along Paint Creek in Yellow River State Forest: (1) Replace approx. 75' of revetment (riprap) on each side of the creek & under walkway bridge; (2) Reset walkway bridge & replace approx. 75' revetment (riprap) on each side of the creek; (3) Level sediment piles, which consists of material removed from dryrun; (4) Relocate Kiosk away from river easterly to other side of road; (5) Replace approx. 400 LF of revetment (riprap) along the east creek shoreline. Project consists of reshaping river banks, tree removal as needed, placing revetment (riprap) on river banks, placing furnished bank hides, constructing handicap fishing access, and seeding disturbed areas with stabilizing crop mix, Paint Cr. & Little Paint Cr. in Yellow River State Forest, Allamakee County. Plans may be obtained by email.
Project consists of repairing approx. 1100' of recreational trail with 1225 cubic yards of contractor furnished fill material to be compacted & shaped, repairing cross trail culvert, and placing 125 ton crushed stone sufacing along Paint Creek, Yellow River State Forest, Allamakee Co., IA. This project consists of excavation, streambank restoration, toe protection, riffle construction, and incidental work as required by the plans and/or the IDNR construction inspector.
