The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. PRAIRIE LAKES WILDLIFE HQ - STORAGE BUILDING RELOCATION

The scope of this contract is to relocate a 55' x 110' pole style storage building approximately 9 miles from its existing location to the Prairie Lakes Wildlife Unit Headquarters in Clay County, Iowa. Work includes but is not limited to; preparing the building for relocation, moving the building with all necessary permits, law enforcement/utility coordination, and resetting the building on a pre-prepared pad.

This project is designed to replace an existing PCC boat ramp with a new 26'x70' grooved PCC boat ramp at the Hinshaw access (Lower Gar Lake, Arnolds Park) in Dickinson County, Iowa. Work includes removal of the existing ramp sections, subgrade preparation, base material installation, 6" reinforced PCC boat ramp, and riprap protection of the ramp

This project involves replacing 129 LF of deteriorated corrugated metal pipe and a water control structure with new polymer coated corrugated metal pipe and other incidental work as required by the DNR Construction Inspector.
Project includes replacement of approximately 140 LF of 42" dia. CMP culverts with aprons at Fish Lake Road in the Green Island Wildlife Management Area, Jackson County, Iowa.
