The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consists of pavement preservation of approximately 3.8 miles of asphalt
roadway at Nine Eagles State Park, including full depth patches, longitudinal and transverse
joint repairs, cleaning and filling cracks, fog sealing pavement, and other incidental work.

This project consists of armoring approximately 1,850 feet of shoreline with class E revetment (FIELDSTONE) and associated work - bank shaping, tree clearing.
This project consists of granular roadway maintenance - ditch cleaning, small tree/brush clearing/removal, roadway blading/shaping, rock placement/spreading/rolling, and culvert replacement. It also includes the grade preparation and forming/placement of approximately 100 SY (~25 CY) of 9-inch PCC.

The stairs at Middle Dance Hall Cave have been deteriorating for some time and in need of replacement. Iowa Prison Industries fabricated a new set of steel stair box treads for this area and the contractor shall demolish the existing stairs and install these new stairs. At Twin Arches Trail, the stairs were damaged by a tree in 2019 and will be demolished and a new set of steel stairs fabricated and installed by the contractor.
THIS IS A REBID OF A PREVIOUS PROJECT:
A 18"x12" tee has deteriorated and will be replaced on the Hatchery's inlet supply line. This tee is situated inside a manhole near Rathbun Lake's outlet. There is other equipment inside the manhole, some of which will be replaced with new, some of which the old parts will be reinstalled.

This project is designed to replace the existing storm sewer piping and intake along with adding new rock to expand boat trailer parking at the main boat ramp. Site Restoration is required on all disturbed grass areas.
