The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consists of the construction of a one story, pre-engineered post-frame building with a metal roof and metal siding, approximately 40' x 136’, including two heated bays, five cold storage bays and a storage loft. The work also includes concrete and class “A” crushed stone paving, concrete paving and electrical services. Project number 12-02-08-04
This project consists of repairs to flood damaged portions of Calcite Trail, streambank armoring adjacent to the trail, streambank armoring adjacent to an existing roadway bridge over Catfish Creek, and incidental work as required by the Plans and/or the DNR Construction Inspector.
This project consists of installing a new 3700 ft. long 2 inch diameter HDPE sewer forcemain along with two lift stations and an equalization tank. Upgrading the existing dump station at the campground by replacing the holding tank. Lining or replacing 225 ft. of existing 8 inch dia. gravity sewer and other miscellaneous related work.

This project consists of the replacement of two CMP Water Control Structures, reconstruction of compacted earthfill dikes damaged by flooding and other related work as required by the Plans and/or the DNR Construction Inspector.
This project consists of the construction of a one story, pre-engineered structural insulated panel building with standing seam metal roofing and metal siding, approximately 50’ x 110’, including three heated bays, a mechanical/electrical room, two restrooms, a conference room, open office area, 4 offices, and a storage room. The work also includes concrete and class “A” crushed stone paving, septic sewer, water and electrical services. Project number 12-04-80-03.
Purchase and install a precast concrete toilet building near the east shelter in Pleasant Creek SRA. Work includes all site grading, crushed rock foundation, and sewer, water, and electric utility connections.

This project is designed to repair existing infrastructure that is failing and add a new tile outlet to increase the pool level at DU Marsh in Clay County. Work on this project includes but is not limited to 12” tile installation, replacement of a 64”x43” CMP arch pipe, and installation of a new Agri Drain Water Control Structure.
This project is designed to repair a sidewalk that is failing do to undermining issues along a wooden sea wall at Claire Wilson Access on East Okoboji Lake, Dickinson County, IA. Work under this project involves removal and replacement of 152 SY of sidewalk, excavation, and rock backfill behind the sea wall.
