The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

This project will renovate the restroom building at the boat ramp of Hattie Elston State Park, built in the 1980s in need of an update. This project will replace all roofing material, repaint all exterior and interior wood surfaces, bring electric to the site and add LED lighting throughout as well as hand dryers and changing stations.
Viking Lake State Park is located just East of Stanton, Iowa. The park will receive a new office/shop building and, as an alternate, a storage building as shown in the documents. The office/shop will have a garage/storage area which will have two identical heated bays. The office will have one large open office space, one storage area, one restroom, mechanical room and a twelve person conference/break room. There will be a paved drive into the garage bays and a storage yard to the rear of the building. The public entry will have a large overhang with a decorative heavy timber truss. Contractor shall also demolish the existing shop and office. The alternate to this project is a 40' x 80' post-frame storage building as shown.

This project is designed to restore/create two wetland pool areas at the Ingham-High Wildlife Unit Headquarters, Emmet County, Iowa. Work under this project includes earthfill (dike construction), excavation (channel), tile investigation, tile breaks, and 12" CMP culvert installation.

This project consists of construction of a work platform made of fiberglass grating. The grating will be supported by a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) frame. Frame will rest on an existing concrete floor. The platform will be 29" above the concrete floor.
The platform will be used to support aquaculture tanks and equipment in a future walleye larval system.

Replace Shop/Office Roof- Springbrook State Park, Guthrie County, Iowa.
Remove and replace 4,260 SF of asphalt shingle roofing on the park shop/office and remove and replace all gutters and downspouts on the park shop/office at the Springbrook State Park. Contractor will be responsible for disposal of all removed and unused materials. All damaged grass areas will be repaired and seeded at no cost to the DNR.

This project is designed to replace the existing fish cleaning table at the boat ramp in Black Hawk State Park, Sac County, Iowa. Work includes removal of the existing table, relocation/replacement of the utility services, installation of a new septic tank, some concrete removal/replacement, and installation of a new Barracuda I Fish Cleaning Station from Quality Machine & Manufacturing.
