The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

5-INCH REINFORCED PCC PAVEMENT FOR PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY
THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE DEMOLITION OF AN EXISTING LATRINE BUILDING AND INSTALLING A NEW PRECAST DOUBLE VAULT RESTROOM BUILDING WITH 5' WIDE PCC SIDEWALKS (28.3 SY 5-INCH PAVEMENT THICKNESS) AND A PCC PARKING AREA (65.6 SY 6-INCH PAVEMENT THICKNESS) LOCATED AT BELLEVUE STATE PARK IN JACKSON COUNTY, IOWA.
This project consists of a new storage facility which will provide storage for multiple boats and allow law enforcement to access local areas more easily. The proposed storage building will have 10'-0" overhead doors, LED lighting and electrical power. Contractor shall rework entire site electrical, remove existing power pole and meters, run new electrical down to pad mounted transformer and then to a distribution panel and out to the buildings at Ahquabi State Park storage and office area .

SITE ELECTRICAL (DISTRIBUTION PANEL, METERS & SERVICE LINES)
The purpose of this project is to install a curb, gutter and stormwater intake system along the existing road; install a pcc culvert riser to an existing culvert; install rock lined chutes; install granular shoulders; and place shoreline armoring at the boat ramp area.
Pine Lake State Park Cabins are some of the most iconic cabins in the entire Iowa State Park system. Build by the CCC, these cabins are unique and special. The fireplace and chimney of these cabins are in need of repair and the firebox, because they are too large, need to be reduced. Being sensitive to the historic and architectural style, the reduction of the fireboxes will be done with the utmost care and will utilize historic stone on site. Also a new concrete chimney liner, firebox brick and restoration of the mantel and hearth area will take place, extending the life of these amazing cabins.
Geode State Park CCC Shelter is a structure which has major architectural significance. This shelter had been closely replicated by the CCC throughout the State of Iowa in many CCC parks becoming an icon for State Parks in Iowa. Restoration of this structure will include removal of roof, some deteriorated roof decking and purlins, all building columns and cob blasting and restoring all wood. Replacement of wood products with like hardwood of same dimensions. All masonry to be cleaned and tuckpointed, replace the fire-box in both fireplaces with fire-brick, sand-blast and paint hood on interior fireplace. Alternates will include a huffcutt pit-latrine, ADA parking area and sidewalk, and restoration of the existing CCC restroom building.

CCC SHELTER RESTORATION AND CONCRETE SLAB REPLACEMENT
This project consists of mechanically dredging approximately 100,000 CY of deposited sediment and native soils, armoring 8,129 LF of shoreline with rock revetment, replace the principal RCP spillway, and replace a CMP water control structure.
The project consists of upgrading the electrical wiring and pedestals to 50 Amp. service, resurfacing of the pads and removal of edging on the pads and other miscellaneous improvements as described in the project's plans and specifications.

This project includes removal of lead based paint on a historical schoolhouse and outhouse meeting all OSHA, EPA, Federal and State regulations within Wildcat Den State Park. After the lead paint is properly removed, the schoolhouse and outhouse are to be primed and painted.
This project is designed to create a new rock boat ramp access into the Heidenreich marsh (Kiowa Marsh Wetland Complex) in Sac County, Iowa. Work under this project includes vegetation clearing, earthfill (borrow and fill of onsite material), installation of rock for surfacing, and some channel excavation into the marsh.

This project consists cleaning and replacing outlets & breakers in 46 camp power pedestals and raising, cleaning,& replacing like distribution breakers and installing new conduit and copper wiring feeds from Mid-American Energy transformer to two (2) 600amp main breaker panels at G. Wyth State Park, Waterloo, Iowa. Proposal may be obtain by e-mailing, name, address, and phone number.
Project consists of removal and off-site disposal of sediment in the boat ramp maneuvering area, an area approximately 100' X 60', and the channel from maneuver area to railroad bridge to a desired depth of 5' at normal Mississippi River levels. This project includes placing articulated concrete blocks at the ends of boat ramps, underwater, to extend boat ramps to deeper water. Also, minor concrete work such as sidewalks and placing riprap to protect boat ramps.

This project is designed to add Class "A" granular surfacing to an existing entrance road and parking area at the Weedland River Access in Woodbury County, Iowa. Work under this project includes some minor grading/surface leveling of the existing access and installation of 3" of Class "A" granular material with proper slopes for drainage.
