The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

This project involves construction of a granular surfaced access roadway with granular surfaced parking areas at Copeland Bend Area, in Nishnabotna Wildlife Unit and any incidental work as required by the project documents and the D.N.R inspector in Fremont County, Iowa.
This project consists of re-grading the existing roadway, adding granular surfacing to the roadway, armoring the foreslope, and incidental work as required by the DNR District Engineer

Build, mount, and program alarm/control panel which will control fish feeders and other devices. Alarms will include low water level, low dissolved oxygen, and motor offline. Alarm/Control Panel will communicate with other panels within the Rathbun Fish Hatchery complex.

This project is designed to remove flood deposited sand and add base stone to select areas of a 15' wide access road in the Louisville Bend WMA, Monona County, Iowa. Work under this project includes removal of sand down to the original road surface in deposit areas, and level grading with stone base installation in areas that were cut during flooding. The removed sand shall be hauled and stockpiled near the roadway entrance.

Repair five slough areas and one hole in the south dike at the Riverton WMA using fill material at the site. Seeding of all disturbed areas required when earthwork completed.

Fill washout in Waubonsie State Park Campground with soil up to original grade with borrow material from old building site. Construct a 250' long curb and gutter along roadway with a riprap splash apron at outlet. Repair roadway with PCC patch and seed all disturbed areas.
