The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. Repair erosion at the Hawkeye Shooting Range in the Hawkeye Wildlife Management Area by cutting 11,700 CY of earth to reduce the slopes to more acceptable levels, placing 7,600 SY of turf reinforcement matting and hydroseeding.
This project is designed to replace the existing fish cleaning table with a new unit at the Marble Beach State Recreation area in Dickinson County, Iowa. Work includes removal of the existing table, relocation/replacement of the utility services, some concrete removal/replacement, and installation of a new Barracuda I Fish Cleaning Station from QCEC Corporation.

Widen the Coralville Boat Ramp within Macbride State Park with an 8-foot wide concrete sidewalk. Includes relocating a light pole, relocating revetment, placing granular base and installing handrail.
Project consists 0f wetland restoration by excavating approximately 8331 cubic yards creating ponding areas and creating habitat mounds with the excavated material on the Walnut Bend WMA near Janesville Iowa. Proposal & plan may be obtained by emailing name and phone number.
This project is for the terrace rebuild of the boat house at Cedar Rock State Park, originally design by Frank Lloyd Wright. The Walter Lowell House, with a detached boat house on the Wapsipinicon River, was given to the state and the house was then restored. The bot house was not restored at that time and has been in disrepair since. This project will address the terrace portion of the boat house and completely rebuild it with a new concrete slab and terrace wall made of brick, to match the original.
