The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consists of improving the existing shooting range by constructing earthen berms, concrete sidewalks, storm sewer, gravel parking, and steel-framed shooting structures for a 30-yard range, a 100-yard range, and a shotgun area.
This project is designed to enhance a wetland pool located on the south side of Elk Lake, Clay County, IA. Work under this project includes removal of an existing culvert, earthfill (2,700 CY of berm construction), excavation of a spillway, tile investigation, tile breaks, and installation of an inline water control structure.

Exploratory project. Excavate, examine, and repair the drain pipe and the drain pipe connection if repairs are needed. Cut holes in the reinforced spillway floor and determine if a void exists under the spillway floor. If a void exists, completely fill the void with flowable mortar. Place joint sealer and backer rod along deteriorated keyway joint. Send an email to request plans and proposal form.
This project shall install a water meter and backflow prevention for a 3" water service connection at the office in Clear Lake State Park. Includes an aluminum heated enclosure on a concrete pad to house the meter and backflow assembly.
The purpose of this project is to construct three earthen ditch plugs and one concrete water control structure. Contractor to complete final grading, seedbed preparation, and furnish seed and mulch. The DNR will plant the seed and place the mulch.
This project is designed to create a wetland pool located on the Williams Wildlife Management Area (WMA), O'Brien County, IA. Work under this project includes earthfill (+-8,000 CY), excavation of a spillway, tile work (investigation, installation, breaks, surface outlets) and installation of an inline water control structure.
