The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project will restore the grist mill at Wildcat Den State Park. The contractor shall clean and bleach all siding, trim, and fascia on the grist mill and prep for new stain application. After neutralizing the cleaning agents, the contractor shall stain the mill. The contractor shall also remove the siding and roof on the pump house and replace with new roofing and siding material.
This project involves repairing deteriorated Jetties by reshaping and armoring the sides with Class E Revetment (Rip Rap). Also restoring the jetties top to its original width, resurfacing the top with Class `A' Crushed Stone and incidental work as required by the DNR Construction Inspector.
Project consists of furnishing all labor and materials for removal & disposal of existing metal siding & roof and miscellaneous material, furnishing & placement of new metal siding & roofing, windows, & doors on existing pole building at Big Spring Hatchery, 16212 Big Spring Rd., Elkader, Clayton County Iowa. This project is designed to restore weathered or damaged elements on the exterior of the lodge at Fort Defiance State Park. Work under this contract will include a new shingle roof, all new chinking and exterior stain, stone cleaning/repair, and repair/replacement of damaged exterior wood and railings.

The project consists of excavating shallow water ponds (18,000 CY) using this material to construct habitat mounds to elevations and configuration shown on NRCS plan, locate existing tile line and install non-perforated tile (1050 LF) at Mohling Wetland Development, Sweet Marsh WMA, Bremer County Iowa. This project is designed to remove and replace the metal roofing, gutters, downspouts and provide new insulation for the metal shop/office building. The contractor is also required to remove and replace the ridge cap on the metal storage building. Both buildings are at the Riverton WMA headquarters. Site restoration is required for all disturbed ares.
