The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project includes a small prefabricated restroom building, PCC sidewalk, pavement removal, new PCC pavement, pavement markings, minor grading, seeding, and mulching. Water, sewer, and electrical infrastructure for the building is also included. Erosion control is required.
This project involves replacing an existing deteriorated water control structure with a single 11' x 10' box culvert with two stop log bays. Also includes a new catwalk with handrails, aluminum stop logs and cleanout of the inlet.
This project includes installing a 60' pedestrian bridge at Lake Keomah State Park. The bridge is currently located in the Stephens State Forest near Lucas, Iowa. Contractor is to transport the bridge to Lake Keomah, install footings, and install the bridge over the spillway.

The ranger's residence at Union Grove State Park is being removed from the site prior to the commencement of this contract.
This project includes complete removal of basement walls and floor. Sewer and water will be capped outside of the building footprint. The hole will be filled with contractor-supplied clay and compacted.
