The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consists of grading and placing rock on approximately 0.35 miles rock roads, parking lots, and shoulders. Patching, cleaning and filling cracks and fog sealing approximately 0.3 mile of HMA pavement and parking lots of varying widths.
Project includes constructing 18 weirs in the Wapsipinicon River with 450 large boulders and other revetment stone, also includes a bank repair at Dutch Creek.
Lewis and Clark State Park has a Visitor Center built in 2009, the north side of the building leaks water through a side-wall pipe entrance. The side door area and sidewalk is heaved and in need of replacement. This project will waterproof the incoming pipe, install new subgrade drain pipes and backfill, and concrete sidewalks and stoop footings.
McIntosh Woods State Park has a Shelter and Fish Cleaning Shelter, and Ventura Access also has a shelter. All of these structures are in need of a new roof. This project will include removing all existing roofing, new fascia boards, and new steel roofing and underlayment on the structures. The Fish Cleaning Shelter will have its skylights removed and filled-in. Ventura Access and Fish Cleaning Shelter shall be part of the base bid and McIntosh Woods Shelter as an alternate.
Project includes replacing two air release valves in a sanitary sewer for main, installing two 1,500 gallon septic tanks, jetting 2070 LF of sewer pipe, and widening access road.
