The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project involves construction of approximately 1400 feet of rock surfaced access road; a rock surfaced parking area to accommodate 13 automobiles with trailers. For the marsh area, the project involves construction of 700 feet of rock surfaced access road, a rock surfaced parking area that will accommodate 10 to 12 vehicles and trailers, a rock surfaced boat ramp for accessing the marsh, and other incidental work as required by the DNR construction inspector.
The range building was designed and built in 2006, however the building was set too close to the firing range, given the limited amount of space on the property. Sound levels on the weekends have become an issue within the building and staff has request sound dampening measures to be implemented. A new entry vestibule, entrance ramp, sound dampening window inserts and insulation will be installed in this project.

This project consists of the purchase and installation of 2" Innerduct Conduit bored or trenched in place for the use of Mid American Energy to install primary electrical conduit for the campground at the Gypsum City OHV Park near Fort Dodge, IA.

This project consists of installing a grid system over the existing rock parking lot. The grid system will then be filled with rock. This will prevent erosion of stone surfacing. Send an email to request plans.

This project consists of feeding electrical service to the new Recirculation Building and providing electricity to several pieces of equipment within that building. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Recirculation Building at 10:00am, Thursday, February 12, 2015. Contractors should first check in with the receptionist in the main hatchery building. Alternate dates/times can be arranged by calling Jason Kruse.
