The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consists of streambank restoration consisting of a native timber crib installation to repair a portion of the Upper Iowa River streambank, and incidental work as required by the Plans and/or the DNR Construction Inspector.
This project is designed to add erosion protection via fieldstone revetment to the windward side of Cottonwood Point in Black Hawk Lake, Sac County, IA. Work under this contract involves supply and installation of 1,000 TN of fieldstone along approximately 1,110 lineal feet of shoreline.
This project consist of adding shoreline armoring via fieldstone revetment to the windward side of Cottonwood Point in Black Hawk Lake, Sac County. Work under this contract involves supply and installation of 1,100 tons of fieldstone along approximately 1,200 lineal feet of shoreline.
CAMPGROUND WATER AND ELECTRICAL UPGRADE. The project consists of boring approximately 954 feet of waterline with associated curb stops, valve boxes, yard hydrants and boring approximately 740 feet of secondary circuit with associated outlet posts and panels. 10 sites.
Iowa DNR needs to modify the existing Activities Center. One of the two solar panel inverters is currently inoperable and needs replacement (DNR shall provide replacement inverter). Contractor shall install new inverter and hook all sensoring equipment into inverter and send old inverter back to Schneider Electric. The contractor shall also provide and install two check valves and two mixing valves as indicated on contract documents.
Remove and dispose of the sediment from the river boat ramp parking area and access road into the Misssouri River. Then place new gravel on the access road and seed disturbed areas.
