The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. DOLLIVER NORTH LODGE HAS BEEN OVER-RUN BY BATS. THE LODGE IS COVERED IN GUANO AND HAS BECOME A HEALTH HAZARD TO STAFF AND PATRONS. IOWA DNR WILL ATTEMPT TO BAT-PROOF THE LODGE BY REMOVING THE ROOF STRUCTURE AND WOOD DECKING AND REPLACING WITH LIKE MATERIAL. WHEN THE REPLACEMENT HAPPENS, ALL OPENINGS SHALL BE CLOSED WITH SILICONE CAULK AND TESTED AFTER THE RENOVATION PROCESS FOR SOUNDNESS OF THE REPAIR. CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE EXISTING ROOF STRUCTURE, BEAMS, SILLS AND OTHER DAMAGED AREAS, REPLACE WITH LIKE WOOD MEMBERS, CLEAN, DISINFECT, REROOF, BAT-PROOF AND FINISH THE LODGE AS SPECIFIED IN THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.

This project is designed to construct a new fish cleaning station in the Emerson Bay State Recreation Area, Dickinson Co., IA. Work under this contract involves construction of an open air shelter, paved handicap parking, full utility installation, minor earthwork, rock surfacing for access, and other misc work.

This project is designed to repair, and armor with stone, approximately 475 LF of wetland dike located on the State Marsh Wildlife Area in Sac County, IA. Work under this contract involves supply and installation of offsite earthfill to repair eroded sections of dike, and installation of Class "D" Revetment Stone to prevent future erosion
