The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project will restore the grist mill at Wildcat Den State Park. The contractor shall clean and bleach all siding, trim, and fascia on the grist mill and prep for new stain application. After neutralizing the cleaning agents, the contractor shall stain the mill. The contractor shall also remove the siding and roof on the pump house and replace with new roofing and siding material.
This project will restore the lodge at Walnut Woods State Park. The contractor shall remove and replace existing roofing, stain the exterior of the lodge, remove interior siding, spray-foam the wall cavities, and replace siding in the original locations, replace all windows throughout the lodge, and thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of the lodge.
This project consists of installing streambank stabilization and a Portland cement concrete boat ramp on the Raccoon River, located in Sac County, Iowa and includes grading, placing riprap along river banks, installing rock vanes and J-hooks, and installing reinforced Portland cement concrete boat ramp onto the Raccoon River.
This project involves clearing and grubbing all trees within 50' of the toe of dam. Also, connect toe drains into a common drain line and outlet to the nearby ditch. Adjust existing sluice gate wedges so that the gate will operate properly without significant leakage.
